LIBESKIND022 will be unveiled at the 60th edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022
The Group’s brands will be showcasing a number of new products and initiatives during the trade fair
San Marino, 26th May 2022. Colombini Group announces its partnership with Daniel Libeskind – an international name in the world of architecture and urban design – for the launch of a capsule collection in collaboration with the Febal Casa brand.
LIBESKIND022 is the name of the new collection of sideboards which is set to be unveiled at the 60th edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022.
LIBESKIND022 pursues and captures the poetry and strength of light in architecture, giving rise to three-dimensional surfaces, where light and shadow play on ephemeral shapes, responding to changing conditions and to the textured appeal of each piece. Daniel Libeskind drew his inspiration from the historical uses of cabinet-making to protect precious objects. The design is minimal and concurrently complex: it changes constantly depending on how the light strikes it, creating a dynamic surface that integrates contemporary life.

The LIBESKIND022 capsule collection of sideboards will have a dedicated area at the entrance to the Febal Casa 700-square metre exhibition space in Hall 11 – D19 E20, where the brand will be hosting a complete living project divided into three macro-areas where visitors can let themselves be transported through different settings, from the kitchen to the living and sleeping areas, showcasing a genuine total living solution that uses and enhances the spaces.
Colombini Group will be exhibiting at the 60th edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022, scheduled to take place from 7th to 12th June at Fiera Milano in Rho, with all its brands: Febal Casa, Rossana, Colombini Casa, Bontempi Casa and, for the first time, Colombini Group Contract.
The Group, with a total booth area spanning over 2,700 square metres, will be one of the main exhibitors at the fair, presenting a host of new products. Plenty of initiatives by each individual brand will also animate the exhibition and Milan Design Week: show cooking sessions with the chef Roberto Verta in partnership with AEG at the Febal Casa stand and with chef Vivien Reimbelli, Alessandro Cardarelli and Alessandro Vittorio Modica in partnership with Whirlpool at Colombini Casa booth; Febal Casa Brera flagship store will host a show cooking featuring the chef Ernst Knam, Electrolux ambassador, and themed workshops with the interior designer Marijana Josifoski (@chroniclesoflivi);
light cocktail at the Rossana showroom in via Turati 6, meetings and events at the Housing & Hospitality Division apartments of Colombini Group Contract, a fully customised tram fitted out by Febal Casa which, for the duration of the event, will take passengers who choose to board it on an itinerary through the main stages of Milan Design Week in search of new talent, creating many unrepeatable moments peppered with cocktails, DJ sets and gaming in partnership with Nintendo. The Febal Casa tram will also become a veritable “destination” also for taking special photos to share on social media.
