Closing of the transaction expected in the coming days
The transaction is part of the Group’s growth strategy and contributes to the creation of an Italian furniture hub, leveraging complementary positioning, manufacturing expertise, international presence, and brand heritage.

San Marino, August 4, 2026 – Colombini Group has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Snaidero, the historic Italian industrial group specializing in high-end kitchens, including Snaidero and Snaidero Projects UK, the British company specializing in contract projects in the UK market. The closing of the transaction is expected in the coming days.
The transaction represents an important strategic step in Colombini Group’s growth path and is part of the project to create and consolidate a family-run Italian furniture hub capable of enhancing brands, industrial expertise, production capacity, and presence in international markets.
Snaidero will complete Colombini Group’s brand architecture, significantly strengthening the Group’s kitchen range and expanding its coverage of complementary market segments: Snaidero in the high-end segment, Febal Casa in the premium segment with a Total Home Furniture offering, and Colombini Casa in the value segment.
The acquisition also enables Colombini Group to strengthen its presence in international markets, where Snaidero is a recognized and well-regarded group with an established reputation for design, manufacturing quality, and Italian kitchen culture.
From an industrial standpoint, the transaction allows Colombini Group to build on Snaidero’s manufacturing know-how, gain access to a district of highly specialized local suppliers, and acquire additional production capacity to support its growth plan.
Within this framework, Colombini Group confirms its intention to invest in developing the brand, in improving and renewing the production lines at the Majano plant, in product innovation, and in the sales and marketing activities that will support growth in Italy and abroad.
Snaidero Group will retain its own brand identity, its distinctive positioning, and its ties to the Friuli region — elements that are an integral part of the value of the transaction. The integration will be geared toward bringing out commercial and industrial synergies, while preserving the autonomy of the brands and valuing the skills of the people who have contributed to the company’s history and reputation.
“This transaction marks an important step in Colombini Group’s growth path and in our long-term vision: to build an Italian furniture hub with industrial roots, founded on strong brands, manufacturing expertise, and the ability to serve complementary market segments. Snaidero is a historic brand, recognized in Italy and abroad, with a heritage of product, design, and expertise that we intend to enhance. As Colombini Group, part of our mission is to preserve the history of design and spread its culture; for this reason, our goal is to grow our brands while respecting their identities, their territory, and the people who embody their value,” said Emanuel Colombini, President and CDO of Colombini Group.
“Snaidero’s entry into Colombini Group enables us to significantly strengthen our kitchen business unit, completing our offering in the high end of the market and expanding our international presence. The transaction has a clear industrial rationale: we want to support the development of Snaidero and the other companies through targeted investments, by leveraging commercial and manufacturing synergies, and by creating the conditions for solid, sustainable long-term growth. The autonomy of the companies and their distribution networks will be absolutely preserved, in the belief that it will help generate further value,” commented Giovanni Battista Vacchi, Chief Executive Officer of Colombini Group.
For customers, dealers, suppliers, and partners, the transaction confirms the commitment to ensuring operational continuity and reliability, while at the same time opening up new development opportunities thanks to the complementary nature of the brands, greater industrial capacity, and the strengthening of the Group’s international presence.
